Manufacturing methods of Akagi Golf Wedges
1. Precision instruments are used to measure each golf wedge produced. They are checked individually for shape and design consistency. The first club builder's actual signature of a three-signature series is physically signed on the golf wedge's shaft when stage one of the production process is complete and approved.
2. To ensure optimal loft and lie angles, each golf wedge is carefully bent one minute degree at a time.
3. Each golf wedge which goes into the assembly process are thoroughly checked and weighed manually to maintain consistency in the loft and bounce angles. The second club builder's signature is signed on the golf wedge's shaft when this process is complete.
4. All Akagi golf wedges are carefully buffed and finished by hand to produce a consistent signature Gun Metal finish
5. Swing Weight is constantly monitored for each Akagi golf wedge both during and after the assembly process.
6. Finished wedges are meticulously assessed individually by Master club builders in compliance with AKAGI’s high Quality Control standards for overall weight, loft angles and lie angles once again. The third and final master club builder's signature is signed on the shaft's of each golf wedge that has been checked and approved.
